Established in 1979, Ho Bee started out modestly in a small rented corner in a factory situated at Balestier, with only two craftsmen. We expertise in handmade gold jewellery with crystals. By then, we already had up to 100 of our very designs for earrings, necklaces, pendants, rings, bracelets and brooches. Our designs were unique and catered specially to customers in a multicultural country like Singapore. This earned the support of many customers, especially the Indians and the Malays. As our popularity grew in 1984, Ho Bee expanded its business and moved to the heartland of Singapore – Toa Payoh. Not only did our creations earn the liking of the locals, they had also caught the attention of our neighbours in other countries. We started wholesaling our jewellery, exporting them to countries like the Philippines and Indonesia. With great success, we further established partnerships with reputable jewellers from countries like Italy, Turkey and Taiwan, bringing in other excellent products into Ho Bee. In 1990, Ho Bee had its first factory set up in Malaysia, acting as a one-stop solution for the manufacturing of quality jewellery. Right from the designing, moulding, casting, soldering, polishing till repairing, our experienced craftsmen did everything by themselves. We constantly developed new product lines to keep up with the ever changing trend, dedicated to satisfying the needs of the fashion savvy customers. Ho Bee further expanded its retail business to 3 outlets located around Singapore. We continued to provide an extensive range of exquisite gold jewellery to our multicultural customers. They include jewellery made of 925 silver and also 14K, 18K, 20K, 22K, 24K gold. In 2004, we acquired an additional machinery and started manufacturing machine-made jewellery like rope chains and wheat chains. With all the hard work striving to be the best, Ho Bee officially became a member of the Singapore Jewellery Association (SJA) in 2005. In 2013, Ho Bee challenged oneself as the manufacturer sponsor for Singapore Jewellery Design Award and produced all the winning design pieces in 22K gold. Thereafter, Ho Bee invested in R&D to produce more sophisticated designer pieces by using 3D printers. Among the significant milestones, Ho Bee explored every method using different technologies to produce requested jewellery pieces, have won the hearts of many customers since then. In a history that now crosses over two decades, Ho Bee is still striving to be one of the favourite brands among many people in the heartlands.
